My wife and I stopped for dinner last night and couldn't be happy anymore. She had the baked tenderoin that was big enough for two and the onion rings that were some of the best I ever tasted. I had the fish with salad and fries. Wow is everything I can say. Excellent food for an old bar atmosphere. The staff was excellent. Well worth the 25 miles drive. View all feedback.
What Tomaserin Casablanca L dislikes about Rustic Cafe:
I enjoyed the quaint, vintage atmosphere of the restaurant. The chicken wings were tasty, although a bit too salty for my liking. The waitress was friendly and attentive. However, I was not a fan of the Pretzels as they had cheese in them which made them taste unpleasant. I almost felt nauseous after eating them. View all feedback.

Amazing place for fun, great food and wonder environment. Service is always tremendous.
Ok, rustic is part of the name, so know going in that is not a elegant eating establishment. Bologna sandwich with fries was on the special board, and I asked if it was fried. Answer: DEEP fried or grilled. Now I am intrigued. I had an eager look on my face, and I was assured, Honey, deep fried is the way to go. I added an over-medium egg, cheese and mustard. The fries came out fast, and could have used another minute in the fryer for my preference. But they were krinkle cut which I always enjoy. And the paper boat held WAY more than I expected or needed. And then the sandwich arrived on a tiny paper. Unpretentious yet magnificent! The bologna edges had crisped to perfection. The mustard, egg yolk and American cheese blended to golden bliss as I enjoyed this sandwich. The server was very friendly to our table of obviously out-of-towners. I am pretty sure the staff knew all the other customers by name. I debated on the 5-star review, but the place is a dive bar with good food. So I would want others to come after me to know it isn 't fine dining. Going in, knowing what to expect will give others a good chance of enjoying this establishment!
Awesome food. From chicken wings, burgers, large tenderloins and fried bologna. All paired with your favorite beverages.
When you walk in it looks just like a bar, but you will be pleasantly surprised. The kitchen is right in front of you and it makes me comfortable knowing that I can see how my food is being made. Love three open kitchen!! Now the server/bartender/busboy/everything (she was working alone) she was great!!! Fast service and friendly, the reason you come to small mom and pop places like this. I would strongly recommend this place!!!
The service at this restaurant was fast and friendly. I recently tried their enormous grilled tenderloin sandwich with fried mushrooms. I definitely recommend giving them a try.
Step into this vintage restaurant for a rustic dining experience with huge portions and fair prices. Specialties include the pork tenderloin and delicious fried dishes. Enjoy friendly service in an unpretentious setting where you can watch your food being cooked. A hidden gem along the way, perfect for hearty and tasty meals, plus great draft beer options. Not ideal for fine dining, but a dive bar with fantastic food. Don't miss the pork tenderloin or the grilled bologna sandwich with must-try fried mushrooms. A must-visit spot appreciated by locals and out-of-towners alike for its welcoming atmosphere and satisfying meals.

What a diamond. A very special place. Over 80 years of experience. Add to an open kitchen, huge portions, fair prices, friendly staff and rustic but amazing atmosphere, and you have a place worth experiencing a detour. I love the rustics. And yes, they have a true, honest, God pork talloin. You must have.
Got the tenderloin sandwich for 2. Excellent! The half fries size was huge. They were so nice and crisp. Will stop again while traveling.
The bartender was super nice! It was just her tending bar, cooking and waiting tables and she did a great job.
Always good food, that's cheap. We like the rustics very much.
