We attended Jonathan's birthday dinner, and it appeared that many others had the same idea, as the restaurant was buzzing with birthday celebrations. The atmosphere was lively and festive. We started with some delicious sea snails, followed by an appetizer of Ahi Tuna served on crispy wontons, which was very enjoyable. For dinner, the specials included grilled Wahoo and a seafood trio featuring swordfish, black salmon, and whitefish, all complemented by a side of lobster tail. Everything was incredibly fresh and well-seasoned. The service was excellent, and the wine and cocktail list was impressive.
One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time! I was pleasantly surprised by this gem in downtown Delavan. The restaurant is beautiful, with a fantastic Chicago-style ambiance, and the service was exceptional—our server, Rick, took great care of us. The menu offerings were delightful, from appetizers to desserts. We enjoyed the Strip Steak, a Three Fish Special, and for dessert, the Madagascar Vanilla cheesecake. Everything was amazing! I can't wait to return soon!
The butcher's block comes with a choice of potato or starch and mixed vegetables. I opted for the 16-18oz center-cut Angus ribeye, while my husband chose the mixed grill, which included a 3oz pork tenderloin, Australian lamb, and Angus beef tenderloin served with Chardonnay Shiitake cream sauce. We were both very pleased with our dinner. The food is definitely worth the price. The staff was friendly and the bartenders were entertaining. I will certainly return to try their seafood next time!
Really enjoyed dinner. Nice cozy restaurant. Service was excellent. Cocktails were very nice. The French onion soup was one of the best we had. The grouper on the fish trio was delicious. Pork chop was very tasteful, but could have been done a little less. All for a fantastic dinner.
