read moreHimalayan Gurkhas, now known as Yak and Yeti, is a Nepalese restaurant on Sydney's Northern Beaches that offers unique flavors and dishes distinct from Indian cuisine. While some diners found the meat dishes lacking in tenderness and flavor, others were impressed by the delicious goat curry and beef curry. The slow service was attributed to a health inspector visit, but the attentive staff and reasonable prices left a positive impression on many customers. The vegetarian options, such as the eggplant, potato, and spinach stir fry, received praise for their flavors and variety. Despite some mixed reviews, many diners appreciated the authentic Nepalese cuisine and felt that the restaurant's quality of food and service deserved a full house every night. Whether you're a fan of Nepalese food or looking to try something different from the usual Indian fare, Yak and Yeti is a worthwhile dining destination.
