I placed an order through the app and waited for over an hour, but the driver never showed up at the store to pick up my order. The restaurant ended up canceling my order and has not refunded my money. I tried calling the store, but the phone number isn’t working.
This restaurant review is about a disappointing experience with the food. The rubber bacon burger had too much mayo on it, making it inedible. The fries tasted like they were cooked in old grease and the "meat" burger had a strange taste. The Coke was out of syrup, so it tasted like seltzer. The meal cost $31 and was a complete disaster, ending up in the garbage. The Mozzarella sticks also tasted like old grease and were hard. The reviewer is frustrated and does not plan on returning to the restaurant, despite any offers they may receive.
I only write reviews when the customer service is really bad. This place always makes customers wait for over 30 to 40 minutes for their food, and it seems like the employees are just goofing off instead of caring that people are waiting. You can tell when someone is making an effort to do their job, but these employees just don't care. I would recommend avoiding ordering delivery from DoorDash or GrubHub from this Checkers location on Wesley Chapel in South Hairston.
