Was NADIR DE OLIVAL ALVES at marrybrown a mag?
Very different style of fried chicken. The flavour is quite nice. I like the sandwiches as well. Not satisfied with the fries though. Can be better. The packaging is nice as well. View all feedback.
Food served came in hot and the delivery was fast. Enjoyed the crispy fried chicken with generous serving of gravy. Definitely followed the special request of thigh and leg part only will order again.
Whenever i feel like having fried chicken i go to Marrybrown. Was having some work near this mall so we had our dinner in this outlet. Had their fried chicken and cheesecake. Both were good. Reasonably priced and very quick service. Servers were very courteous and polite.
Marrybrown is near my place and I always get back here to dine in. The chicken and gravy is to die for. They perfectly serve it well and hot. Staff are very nice too. :
Carrying on the tradition of the established brand name from Malaysia. Marry brown has been serving in the UAE for the last 15 years. Yes, I would confess that I was under the impression is a Filipino brand which is not true. Its a well knows brand from Malaysia and you all must have seen its outlets in many malls across the UAE.
We were invited to a bloggers event at this Marrybrown branch, to try out some of the new items added to their menu. Having seen the outlet in a few places and trying it out a few times over the years, we were quite keen on seeing what they had to offer. Our verdict: Good fast food option with some interesting items on their menu that will appeal to a variety of customers. We Ordered: Chick ’n’ Strips [AED 15]: 3 pieces of chicken strips, 1 piece of chicken, fries and bun. A nice, crunchy batter coating on the chicken. Definitely a filling meal and a good option for those who prefer boneless pieces of chicken. MB Gravy [AED 6]: This gravy was delicious! And went really well with the chicken strips. So if you do order that, definitely get this as a side for dipping. A smaller portion is available for AED 2. Currylicious [AED 15]: This dish is part of their variety meals section. Chicken served with curry sauce, rice, achar salad and pappadum along with a soft drink. Definitely something created to appeal to the South Asian community or anyone who likes a spicy, curry meal. Battered chicken fillet cut into pieces and doused with a curry sauce, over a serving of rice and topped with spring onions with pieces of pappadums on the side. The latter of which, although adding to the presentation; got a bit soggy so do ask if you can have it on the side when ordering. The curry ‘sauce’ was quite interesting, perhaps a little salty but enjoyable nonetheless. Spaghetti [AED 12]: Spaghetti with red meat sauce. Not a traditional pasta dish so don’t expect that. This dish is more catered to the Far East Asian palette. The tomato sauce is sweeter and the meat is red sausages that are sliced and added to the sauce. Not something that we would order personally, but it’s nice to see that they have some options on the menu besides just chicken pieces and sandwiches. Chicken Popcorn [AED 7]: We tried the spicy option (they also have original). Bite sized breaded chicken pieces which go well with the sauce options mentioned below. The pieces had a nice crunch to them and the spice mix it was tossed in was nice. We enjoyed this, it was tasty, had the right amount of spice and was fun to eat. Sauces Garlic [AED 1], Sweet Chili [AED 1], BBQ [AED 1], Chipotle [AED 2]: We liked the chipotle from these but they all go with the popcorn chicken depending on your preference. Honeydew Melon Mojito [AED 9]: Too sweet for us but still a refreshing soda based drink. It’s got melon syrup which gives it its green colour, topped with a lemon slice and mint leaves. Mango Mojito [AED 9]: Another refreshing drink and definitely our favourite. Not as sweet and just a refreshing. Again topped with a lemon slice and mint leaves. The Venue: Not much to comment on this. Marrybrown is part of the food court on the top level of Al Reef Mall. It is located on the right most side. If you take the elevator up to the second level, it will be in front of you once you exit.
