Went for vivid and this was the best location and best value in Sydney hands down. This is our 3rd stay here and its better and better each stay. Family room for all 4 of us was huge and a great sneaky view of the bridge. So close to Vivid just a short walk and the hotel was amazing. It is the best kept secret for location and value in Sydney. We highly rate this hotel for anyone wanting a great night in town with ha... View all feedback.
What Igor Ávila doesn't like about The Kerrigan:
Shangri-La Lobby Lounge was alright. There was no ambiance unless you count buisness meetings as ambiance. It was dark and dim in the lobby lounge and I feel the room needs to be very much updated. The staff were friendly. Their scones were nice and...their sweets were good. However the choice of a cheese grilled sandwich for a savoury has me stumped. View all feedback.
Great place right next to the harbor, friendly enough at the helmets. A little more expected, as the burgers jumped overnight from 12 to $ 20 dollars, but now with french fries came (the blue were) and the extra $ 8 is not worth it. Plus $ 3 extra for tiny piece of bacon. Also forgot / not with cucumbers as indicated on the menu. Could also paste a few things to the table like cutlery or sauce and table service for this price. $ 55 for 2 average burgers and 2 doses of coke stands out a bit.
Great place next to the harbour, friendly enough chef at the tax. just a little more expected than the burgers jumped over night from dollar to dollar, but now with fries (the were blah) and certainly not the extra plus extra for small piece speck. also forget / do not come with pickle as indicated on the menu. could also put some dinge on the table as cutlery or sauce and table service for this price. for average burger and doses of koksstichen a bit.
Beautiful food, extremely disappointing service and venue. Waited over 1 hour for our food and almost 1.5 hrs for our tea. A 2 hour afternoon ended up spending 4 hours there. The worst experience was the staff misplacing my credit card for 40 minutes and not informing me.... Will definitely not be going back. There are many other fabulous venues for High Tea in Sydney with professional service staff.
Such a top location, overlooking the harbour and area, great snack menu and the best cocktails around, good prices for this 5* venue top bar snacks and great staff a must try if you are visiting sydney, sit outside in a dome or heated lounge, winter here, but super warm and inviting, if you don't come here you have missed the best spot in Sydney
We had high expectations coming for this High Tea for a birthday. Unfortunately, nothing lived up to the expectations.1. The sandwiches were stale. Certainly not fresh that day2. The scones were hard and tasteless3. A couple of the sweets were nice, but certainly not all of them.4. We were seated for over 30 minutes before any food arrived at the table. The only thing that we got before that was a bottle of champagne that was an extra charge.5. Most people were well over halfway through their food before anybody took orders for tea.6. The tea was made from a tea bag in a fairly large teapot meaning it wasn't strong enough. No idea why they gave us tea strainers if it was made with a tea bag.All in all it was very disappointing, and we would certainly not return.
