The service was friendly and quick. The staff member was wearing her mask, which was great to see. Although there was no indoor dining, they had a table set up outside.
I have never been more disappointed with a sandwich from Subway. This particular location puts very little meat, sauce, cheese, and vegetables in their sandwiches, making it feel like I was just eating bread. It was a waste of both money and time to order from here. I used the app to place my order because I was pressed for time, but when I opened my sandwich at work, I was extremely let down by the quality. I suggest avoiding this location and opting for a different Subway instead.
I'm originally from Woodland and have always loved the Subway locations there. However, since I've started working in Davis, I decided to try the Subway nearby a few times through Doordash. Unfortunately, both times my sandwich was prepared incorrectly, with missing and extra ingredients. Thinking it might be a miscommunication with the online orders, I decided to visit in person. Sadly, even there, I had to keep asking for more onions and lettuce as they were quite stingy with the toppings. I won't be returning to this location, as it didn't meet my expectations. On top of that, there was an overwhelming amount of mayonnaise on my sandwich, so much that it was dripping with every bite. I enjoy mayo, but this was excessive.
I received the wrong sandwich and was charged an extra $6 for an add-on that wasn't included. When I called the restaurant to address the issue, the manager, whose heavy Indian accent made communication challenging, rudely dismissed my concerns and refused to provide any compensation. Instead, she insisted that I come back to purchase another sandwich, promising to waive the cost of the incorrect order. This experience was very disappointing and made me question the manager's qualifications for her position.
