Their strawberry cake is to die for and the servings are enormous so you may want that to go. If they haven't run out of strawberry cake when you get there, order it to go immediately so they don't run out while you're eating.

The meat patties are 5 ounces each, so you might consider going for a double meat option. We noticed other diners enjoying catfish and chicken fried steak, both of which looked delicious. The diner was filled with locals, which is always a good sign. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area. Just a word of caution: the water in the Sulphur Davis area has a sulfur taste, so you might want to bring your own bottled water. I would definitely go back!

Fries were amazing without any need... read more Steak sandwich was cooked perfect and fresh with meat taking up most of the plate, we needed a second plate just for fries. Fries were amazing without any need for seasoning or salt and did not have any greasy taste or texture. Banana pudding was creamy and to die for without imitation tastes. Ladies were just as wonderful. Husband says if their food is this good, I wonder how good the fresh catfish will be? Hands down it was an AMAZING place to eat and I 'm SUPER picky.

The service was outstanding, with just a 5-minute wait for my order. It’s a lovely spot, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys catfish.
