We decided to stop by during a drive to Reno and were pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the poke. The portions are generous, the staff is exceptionally friendly, and the food is delightful. Davis has really transformed since my college days here in 2006! I'll definitely return when I'm in the area again.

Although there was a line, it moved swiftly, and the staff were very friendly. I ordered the zesty chicken bowl, which was quite generous in its portion of chicken and had just the right amount of sauce to cover the rice. The addition of mangoes and edamame brought a fresh zing without overpowering the dish, allowing the flavors to stand out. There was plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot for a satisfying and reasonably-priced meal!

The soft shell crab sushi wrap was my favorite! I added tobiko and jalapeño for extra texture and kick. My husband ordered the zesty salmon, and we swapped halves. I definitely preferred the flavor and texture of my soft shell crab over his; the zesty salmon seemed to lack that zing. I was also a bit disappointed that the spam jalapeño musubi came with only one piece. Typically, when ordering from other places, you receive two. Aside from that, I'd recommend just ordering the sushi burrito itself, as I was quite full from the chicken karaage and couldn’t finish it. Highly recommended!

The chips were perfectly crispy, and the brown rice had a great texture—not too starchy, too hard, or too soft. All the different textures and flavors worked harmoniously together. The portion sizes were quite generous for the price. They also have rice bowls, spam musubis, and various other items on the menu, including karaage chicken. The staff at the register during my visit was patient and extremely friendly when I asked for suggestions on what to pair with my poké bowl, and she really delivered! Everything was spot on. The spam musubi was tasty as well. The restaurant was quite busy in the evening, but the seating arrangements were comfortable. I will definitely be back! : 'D

The person I was with had the oyster tuna, and that seemed to have a better flavor.
