The Telegraph offers a charming atmosphere and a wide selection of drinks, making it an appealing destination for diners. However, guest experiences have varied significantly. While some patrons appreciate attentive service and enjoy standout dishes like the Wagyu Burger and Katsu curry, others report issues with slow service, cold meals, and high prices, particularly for the portion sizes. Traditional style of pub with well kept ales- Doom Bar London Pride. Serving excellent pub food in great surroundings with open fire in winter and good outside seating in summer View all feedback.
What Kingsley M dislikes about The Telegraph Inn:
What an obnoxious man serving with all the tattoos. He could do with a lesson in customer service. There was 6 of us that will never return again whilst this bartender is serving. Can’t believe the change in service since this establishment changed hands, although I don’t think the new owners realise how bad it’s got. View all feedback.
During a short break in Moulton, we visited The Telegraph and were greeted by Steven at the bar. He quickly served us drinks and gave us menus. Both my wife and I ordered the Wagyu Burger and were extremely satisfied with it. Despite being busy running the bar and taking orders on his own, Steven made sure we were well taken care of. We appreciate his hard work and politeness. Overall, it was a pleasant experience at this charming pub/restaurant.
Frequently stop for a drink and catch up, always friendly and a warm welcome. Haven't eaten there but would, food looks good.
Had a lovely evening yesterday, Paolo is a lovely host who even suprised us with some samples of his wonderful food, as locals we will be going there a lot more.
We had lunch last Sunday which was average to say the least. Not a great choice as it was either Beef or Pork. The beef was very fatty and poor quality. The veg was average. The roast potatoes were very poor. The dishes were served on cold plates which meant that the food cooled down rapidly while you were eating it. The staff were very good.
