Was Anonym at Royal Oak a mag?
there was a chance on this place for Sunday dinner based on google reviews. with other pubs this was a welcome change. there was nothing to blame. there was a warm and friendly reception, a good selection of drinks, excellent Sunday roasts, fabulous desserts and coffee. will definitely go back. What Pat Capel dislikes about Royal Oak:
Unfortunately, the Saturday BBQ experience did not meet expectations. The pub itself has a charming appearance, but the food was lacking in quality, which was disappointing. Overall, it feels like a missed opportunity. Ratings: Food: 1, Service: 3, Atmosphere: 3. View all feedback.

The Royal Oak at Eydon is a great little traditional village pub in the heart of Northamptonshire.

Hadn’t visited this pub for a very long time. Was lovely to return, beautiful inside a fab courtyard outside. The owners were extremely friendly chatty. They couldn’t do enough for us. Lunch was amazing, food so good couldn’t fault it. So, very sad to hear the owners are moving on the pub will be closing from this weekend. Such a loss to the village. We would definitely have returned if able to. We wish the family all the best for their next venture.

Visiting National Trust Canons Ashby House . The Royal Oak is just down the road in Eydon village. We had a great lunch there. A lovely old village pub with a great welcome an interesting menu and great food. Will go again.
