Food was mediocre... sevice was the same..went for a birthday meal..and had to keep oyr coats on.. staff were friendly. But wouldn't rush back.. we even put the calor gas fire on as its bare and cold.
We come here every so often on our lunch break at work. The service is always good, the lunch time menu is good value for money and plenty of choice. If it is busy service can sometimes be slower as there is only 1 member of staff serving and taking orders.
Happy chef used to offer the freshest nicest Chinese takeaway in Daventry. Unfortunately the last 4 times I have had takeaway from there the quality and flavour has been extremely poor. I will not be ordering from them again.
This was my first time trying this place I had a bad experience with my usual Chinese and was recommended by some friends who come here on a regular. Was very impressed by the food and service. Will be coming back very soon
I have been a regular at this restaurant for some time now and the food is consistently delicious, bursting with flavor and always fresh – something you don't typically find at other Chinese restaurants in Dav. I have a gluten allergy and the staff are always so accommodating and understanding when I place my order, especially since I am quite particular about what I eat. I would rate this restaurant 5 out of 5, it is the best Chinese restaurant in Dav and I would never consider dining anywhere else!
