You couldn't ask for anything more than great service and delicious food!
The food is good, but the opening hours are not reliable. It is difficult to find the restaurant open, as it always seems to close early.
Best chippy in Daventry, has so much choice and are always friendly. Tried the new chicken burger which was delicious. As is the battered haggis. Good food great service, what more could you want

Had fish and chips lunchtime special with curry sauce and a drink really good fish and chips cooked properly very tasty indeed lovely friendly service well done

With distance the best chips in daventry! everyone so often we come with my son to daventry to see some friends, quite often we will get some fish chips from this chippy. the portions are huge, the quality of the food is second to none! the personal is also very kindly appreciated we will be worth a visit

I live in flore and travel to this shop without failing any week and this team makes a fantastic job. I have been owed fish and chip stores for 25 years south and for me this is the best fishing and chips for miles. eating is always top quality and I can say that they use the best oils to do in (no cheap oils like 80% of chip shops). the fish is always beautifully broken and the min-child they serve is greater than most shops big fish..lol the staff on the street and the youngs frying are always friendly and the shop is immaculate. beware of these young, keep up good work. ps my son just called out, the burgers are evil!

For years in Daventry, Trawlers was Number 1 for food. Not anymore!!. The fish chips from Daventry Square Fish Bar is FANTASTIC!! THESE ARE THE PEOPLE TO BEAT!!!! Brilliant food, really nice pleasant staff well priced. The food is first class, I can not make it anymore clearer....THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!!! Thank you. The food from Daventry Square Fish Bar is excellent. Freshly cooked to perfection. The establishment is fantastically clean. The staff are always friendly helpful. Good food, great value. Should change their name to “Tina Turners” as they are “Simply The Best!”
