The Pines - DARLINGTON POINT

Always great coffee and a great range of breakfast and lunch foods. Great little garden area (where bandicoots can sometimes be spotted) and over looks the park. Bring your friendly puppy dogs too!

This small cafe is just around the corner from our house. Its not flash, but its our local and we love it. Hubby grabs a coffee every morning and we enjoy the big Veggie Brekky regularly on Sundays. Its a great place to meetup with friends and family for coffee and cake. There is also a gift shop selling everything from homewares, soft furnishings, jewellery, quirky knick knacks, and clothing.

Had a delightful morning at the Pines with a pit of tea and a slice of Banana Bread. We had the option of having it toasted and asked for the accompanying butter be served on the side. It was exactly cascade requested and was beautiful and warm. Tea was hot, which was difficult on a very cold morning in the hills. Only request I would make would be for some gluten free items on the menu but it is a small request. What a delightful spot watch families coming and going and playing across the road at the playground and the Oval.

My family and I frequent the Pines on a regular basis. Their coffee is to die for and their food delicious! You must try the open chicken sandwich with camembert cheese! The owners and staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. We will be back, again and again and again!

From what was once a run down deli, the new owners have tried to do something never. Ambiance is nice, but a bit confused. Standard of food and beverage and service can be improved considerably
