I don't like to leave bad reviews, but this place was baaaad. we went from a recommendation for my partner birthday. the service was terrible, we were ignored m... read more I don't like to leave bad reviews, but this place was baaaad. we went from a recommendation for my partner birthday. the service was terrible, we were ignored most of the night, they forgot a part of our order, everyone seemed miserable and I was made to feel as if I had done something wrong when I had been thinking that never came to be removed from the bill. the eating seemed to vary some was nice and other items were under average. it was a reasonable price, but sometimes it was shown. the hühnerburger looked like something I would have done when I was bread and a frozen burger. maybe just a bad night and another thought to eat good and service.

To be honest, I accidentally discovered this a Monday evening and decided to try their Monday steak et friites. now it was certainly well worth and good quality... read more To be honest, I accidentally discovered this a Monday evening and decided to try their Monday steak et friites. now it was certainly well worth and good quality steak in side slices after cooking cut. too many fries for a reasonable person. so later on half salate, half fry. there a couple of times after the movie theatre in chauvel. then recently and steak had stood up until assembly and they just do it in the piece (I liked the sideways cut me myself) and steak still good. they make other specials at other nights, like carving at night, but they never tried. a long narrow bar and high tables in victoria St side and it is a long narrower place (they have the passage bit right

It was very ordinary at be... read more Went to the Passage Bar for a drink. The place was recommended by a Doorman at another place that was booked out for a private party. It was very ordinary at best. There were boxes up above the bar making it feel unkept, dirty tea...towels laying across the bench at the left, and a general uncared for feeling. The bar staff looked unprofessional and a little inattentive. Our table hadn't been cleaned and was sticky. We had a cocktail from a very small selection, which we didn't finish prior to leaving, as it wasn't particularly good. We frequent a great many bars in Sydney (shame TripAdvisor only allow the ones with food to be rated) and expect a good atmosphere and good service when we pay for it. This isn't one of those places. Can't comment on the food though, which is served in a separate section to the bar.
