Nothing like, alfresco dining in the winter , heaters on, and yet the sun is still shining in Sydney. Always enjoy the Oxford for the peaceful friendly and fun atmosphere. Lunch time specials aways a good deal, a good meal even better with a pint. Thursday enjoyed a great burger and pint for $12 .Staff are friendly. Toddle off for a walk and back for a few over Happy Hour. View all feedback.
What Zoila Quitzon doesn't like about The Oxford Hotel:
The bar staff was fabulous and crafted beautiful cocktails for us. However, the security staff is asinine. I have never been insulted in this way before. At 2:00, a security staff member approached me and asked me to leave. He said I was intoxicated. I...asked him on what evidence he based this assessment, and he said because my pupils were dilated. Hello, it’s dark in there? I have been intoxicated in bars before. T... View all feedback.
Me looooooves an easy going relaxed establishment that mixes cocktails and pub grub reflecting the rough edges and smooth finishes of all sorts that parade the carefree strip we know and love. It's also great how there's a new attraction and reason to come back again and again with meals here only requiring a blue or orange note so you dont have to break the bank. Save the days in your calendar $10 RUMP STEAK NIGHT (always perfectly cooked.to perfection whenrl requested medium to well) ON MONDAYS, $12.50 BURGER & BEER ON THURSDAYS or for the same price the all day breakfast (hangover cure) ON WEEKENDS! Who said dining with style had to break the bank?
Had a fantastic gourmet burger, a fantastic gourmet burger, a beer for only $ 12.50 on a Thursday evening at Oxford Hotel in Darlinghurst. The burgers had a charming smoky aroma with bacon, cucumbers and fresh garden salad. One of the best I had a very long time. Great service and city towels sitting outside in the Elfresco area looking at the world. Topping of a beautiful evening in Sydney. Grief Grief Wonderful
Stylish venue, friendly staff and patrons. We had pork dumplings and shrimp linguini. The shrimp was great and the touch of Chili woke the flavor buds.

Went here two days in a row for dinner. Each day they had happy hour with 5 dollar wine and beer and a dish for 10 dollars. Very tasty food so great value for money. Nicely located on Oxford street. Attentive and friendly staff and an outside seating area.
