We virtually stumbled across this restaurant after fortunately finding a car parking spot across the road after a morning of wandering around the south side of Sydney Harbour. The restaurant is situated in trendy stanly St where there are what seem to quite a few good eateries. We dropped in for q quick lunch and had crab with stir fry and crispy pork with steamed rice. Me, my wife and our five year old were visiting from Melbourne and staying in the Pullman Hyde Park just around the corner on College St. Was looking for a Thai restaurant on trip advisor and saw it was close by so we'd give it a go. Stanley St, between Riley and Crown, was a surprising hive of activity on Sat night and a cute little out of the way street. The service at Thai Lemongrass was attentive and friendly. Food came out quickly though they weren't busy which we couldn't understand. Food was excellent - quality, flavours, freshness and portions. Great spot for cheap and casual Thai on a mild night - sit outside or inside as it's well ventilated with large doors and windows.
We had dinner here one night with a Groupon voucher for a 5 course banquet at $40 per person. The dishes were authentic and the seafood was very fresh. The setting at this place is also very chic and relaxing. Great value and quality.
The food was exceptional and very authentic Thai! Staff were fantastic. Great price & quaint location. Strongly recommended
Relaxing, casual and wonderful food. Patrons will not be disappointed at this hard to find but worthwhile restaurant. We'll be back soon it was so good.
The food at Lemongrass was high quality and the service was good. Was very happy to find it by accident.
