If nosh matters and late night as well than it fits the criteria for Phamish. Its hip and with a cuisine that’s light, fresh and very tasty. Asian melange in copious bowls and quick attentive service. We have never missed out getting a seat as...turnover is quick. Great for theatres nearby. View all feedback.
What Xavier Guillou doesn't like about Phamish:
I was recommended the Vietnamese curry. Everyone in the place seemed to be eating it, so thought it would be great. The upside is that they were very generous with the chicken, loads of it, but other than that it was quite ordinary. It has massive pieces of potato and sweet potato, why? You eat it with rice - carb overload.
Something else I found odd was that they make you walk up to the counter to place your order.... View all feedback.
Been a year or so since we visited, food still great but thought this time the prices were a bit high for value. Unfortunately the service has gone downhill, grumpy waitstaff who didn't seem to want to be there or want customers to be there?...Don't go with friends if you want to catch up, certainly and in and out kind of place where they will let you know its time to go even if you have only been there an hour. Find it bizarre you can't split bill payment? Seriously how hard is it? Used to love this place and happily trek there and then make the effort to find parking etc but not sure sure now..... staff need some happy pills!
The dining experience at Phamish is always a delight. We ordered the special Scallop Knödel and Beef Curry, both of which were incredibly delicious. It is now possible to make reservations for either indoor or outdoor seating.
I recently dined at a Vietnamese restaurant with friends who had never tried the cuisine before, and it was a fantastic choice. I recommend booking a table in advance as it is a popular spot, but the staff were still attentive. The service was quick, so don't expect a long meal as they turnover tables efficiently. The standout dish was the crispy skinned chicken, but everything else we tried was also delicious. I suggest trying something new on the menu as there is a good chance you will enjoy it. Overall, a great dining experience for those looking to explore Vietnamese cuisine.
The food was tasty and the service was good until the end. I made a reservation the previous night, but we were asked to leave as soon as we finished eating, which was within an hour. We had to rush our meal. I would have understood if there were people waiting or if all the tables were full, but it seemed unjust since there were others who were there longer and had finished eating. I have noticed that this is a recurring issue here. The restaurant manager's behavior was very strange, and because of this, I do not plan to return.
Our first uber isst experience and we were super satisfied! ente and prawnen pfannkuchen, roti, salt and pfeffer tintenfisch und schweineglocke. all delish! I would not say that this wad is a cheap take-off option and I would prefer to dinate, but how situation is, we...can not be a nice meal!
