Was Aarón Cantú at Nudge a mag?
Local cafe around the corner from where I live that has really good food at a very reasonable price. They serve great coffee here too, so I usually stop by before work and grab a takeaway ☕️ View all feedback.

What Bridgette Schinner dislikes about Nudge:
Sometimes you pass by places because they just seem too easy to get to! Nudge is a cafe that I pass all the time on my way to Aldi or Vintage Cellars or the discount pharmacy in Oxford Village Square, and I’ve never stopped by. It’s a pretty casual stop off, not meant for a long meal. They seem to do a healthy trade. View all feedback.

Wonderful little breakfast place. Simple menu but continuously high quality. Great prices for being in Surry Hills. Friendly staff that recognise you after a few times.

Great coffee! The only place I know that gets my coffee perfect every time (xtra strong almond mocha). Most places make mochas so weak that I don't even taste the chocolate. Excellent service. They remember who we are every time. We have gone to several other cafes in this area, and at some we have been regular customers for years. This is the first place where I feel that they are happy to see us and remember us and our order. The food is tasty. The menu is good, well made and similar to what you can get in most places. Nothing super inventive but that works for me. I always order poached or scrambled eggs on Turkish with avocado. I have ordered this exact meal in almost every brekky restaurant in Surry hills. I use it as a benchmark since it is a fairly simple meal. Still, a lot of places seem to struggle and get the scrambled eggs too runny or the poached eggs too hard. Nudge gets it exactly right 99% of the time! Another plus is the price! It's a lot cheaper than the average Surry hills brekky place. Here we pay under $40 for 2 meals and coffees!
