Great oasis in the middle of the city. My friends and I really enjoyed our night out at Cinema Den. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was fresh and really tasty, especially the skewers and grilled fish. It was refreshing to be served food that was so generous. It was very healthy too.There were also some amazing cocktails. I had Teriyaki beef for lunch and it turned out that the best Teriyaki beef I had in sydney. it's worth a visit!
It is a tiny cool cinema-themed café serving Japanese food. stereotypically I found it as a strange combo?! friendly staff, beautiful ambiente, good place for a casual dinner or drinks, they actually serve alcohol there. eating, dinner dishes are quite expensive, average $30 for net. the salmon steak was pretty good, but it was a waste because the kartoffel was not coked. stir the bark meat fry udon was delicious, the terriyaki sauce was too much and got a little overwhelming at the end.
Great jazz each Thursday night at the moment, 7:30-9:30, very civilised! Nice range of drinks, cool but warm, intimate and friendly. Will definitely go back.
This place is highly underrated. I've been here twice and each time the service, ambiance and food have been amazing. Highly recommend the skewers their presentation will exceed your expectations, and taste so so juicy, too. It's the perfect spot for date night or small gatherings. Highly recommended!
This restaurant is now called Cinema Hibiki. Came in for fresh juice, this is the first time I came by this restaurant and they look interesting with the Japanese food style menu and the movie showings. The juice was fantastic I wasn't sure whether the combo would work (apple, lemon,cucumber) but it was surprisingly good. I will come back for dinner and movie night in the near future!
