Was Ilene Champlin at Bar Brosé a mag?
chefs are women and the perfect setting for the night of a girl. Eating is delicious, full of taste and different! weine and cocktails are also exceptional. the menu was changed regularly, but was always interesting and fresh! sad that there is nothing else. bring it back! View all feedback.

What Shaina Greenfelder dislikes about Bar Brosé:
It wouldn't be fair to say the service wasn't great. It was - friendly staff, efficient and attentive. The fit out and atmosphere it also fantastic. While the food is tasty, the portions and the 'share plate' approach is uterly ridiculous. They are simply tiny. You would need to order 2 or 3 of each to ensure your group was satisfied. This isn't made overly clear. Save your money and go to an actual restaurant if you... View all feedback.

Good drinks menu and bar space with great service but I would not recommend going for the tasting menu. The starters and mains here were very disappointing. Small portions (6 mussels for a group of 4 people), too much bread (one course was a cheese toastie) overall there was not one dish out of 7 that we would order again.

Heard mixed reviews of the place so we tried it with a group of friends. A large table of 10 was booked but unfortunately not all could make it. Still had to pay for all 10 so a warning to charge your friends who cancel on you! The dinner was a hit and miss. The lamb and beef were fantastic as were some of the other dishes. Some were a bit too much of a fusion (gnocchi with Chinese sausages?). The 7 or 8 course dinner (lost count) was only $60 though! So fantastic value. Obviously spent more on drinks but that's normal.isnt it?

Loved this place. Walked into the smell of freshly baked cheesy bread... They know the way to a girls heart! The rest of the evening was delightful. Cocktails perfect, wine list carefully selected, menu carefully constructed with a delicious variety of dishes to try. We ordered a few too many entrees to try the mains or desserts, but that is the beauty of a tapas style menu. Great for a casual evening with good food, wine and friends.

Loved it. Food was well priced and good value, and the wine list was great too. Staff were really attentive and it had a great vibe once about 8pm hit. Will be back

Bar Brose is honestly one of my favorite restaurants in Sydney right now. I've visited several times, including a large gathering for my partner's birthday with a mix of vegans and vegetarians, and they've always been welcoming and served fantastic food. I highly recommend starting with the Comté de gougères, which are delightful little fluffy cheesy pastries. For two of us, with a cocktail each, the total came to about $120 (or a little less), which is remarkable considering the quality of the food. Keep in mind that all dishes are designed for sharing. They also accept American Express.
