Skipper's Fish Camp - Darien

We stopped at this restaurant on our way home and were very pleased with the experience! We started with the buffalo bites, which were perfectly cooked with a good amount of chew. Next, we tried the Flounder Crabcake with crispy greens, which was delicious. The Flounder was large and the crab cake was made just right. The collard greens were fresh as well. The fried items we tried were also delicious, but the portions were large enough for two people. Although I would have liked a non-fried option, it was not available. The restaurant was separated from the bar, giving diners the option to choose where to sit. The restaurant side was slightly smaller than expected, but there was also seating on the bar side. The back area seemed like it could accommodate more guests, but there were no tables or chairs for everyone. The bathrooms were spacious and clean, and the service was friendly. Additionally, there is a walking area in the back where guests can enjoy the water view. We even spotted a baby alligator among the debris!

Amazing food and beautiful location. definitely a must come to enjoy some fresh seafood? The crab cake was so good to find so amazing taste in a crab cake for the first time. Must eat food. The captain plate was a good spread of shrimp, scallop, freshly caught fillet fish together with oysters. The oysters and the fillet were in taste. Next was crabcake and flounder. The Flounder was AMAZING and the crab cake was an absolute must! We swallowed this spread with a few glasses of beer?. Beautiful experience, will surely come back!!

The food was excellent. Perfect season on everything. I had the record. Let's say I needed a box. The tartaric acid sauce is so good homemade. The sweet potato soufflé tastes as if it came directly from my large-mother kitchen. ? The waitress was from the time when my part broke up. You would have thought we were where her only table. The outer river view to see the boats past and view the river for date night.

This place served the best shrimp and flounder I ever tasted. I rolled into the city and one of the locals recommended this place. The food was amazing, the service was great, come here you will not regret it if you love crabs, shrimps and seafood.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone passing by or living in the area. The atmosphere is fun and the servers are kind. There is a boardwalk where you can walk and see a unique shrimp boat. The meal we ordered and shared was the Large Shrimp Platter with two sides, and it was delicious!
