I’m highly disappointed! We use to live at CIS and I would have a beech bowl often. So when I can get to DI; I still grab a bowl because of the memories and taste. However, our bowl today taste like freezer/refrigerator the açaí and fruit. I asked for extra almond butter an up-charge) but there was absolutely none. Spending $31 on two bowls for us not to even eat them due to the stale taste angers me to say the least. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Excellent place for lunch. The chicken salad wrap is fantastic. I usually avoid chicken salad because of excessive mayo, but this one was just right. The wrap was filled with fresh mixed greens, carrots, celery, and tomatoes. The chicken salad itself was full of great flavor.

I absolutely love Beech and always take visitors there when they come to see me. I've tried açaí bowls at various spots around Charleston, but Beech’s menu stands out as the best by far. The BAB bowl is my top pick, and their poke bowls are delicious as well. While it’s a bit pricey, I visit as a special treat, and it’s definitely worth every cent. I no longer bother trying açaí bowls anywhere else.

The staff at Beech was very friendly. However, I found it quite expensive for what it offers, and the taste was disappointing. They should provide more options beyond just açaí bowls. Playa Bowls, for example, have a greater variety, better quality, include protein, and cost only $11 per bowl.
