Ruby Tuesday - Dandridge
Ruby Tuesday
Description
Ruby Tuesday offers a mixed dining experience that highlights both potential and pitfalls. While some patrons rave about the quality and variety of dishes like the salad bar and BBQ ribs, others lament disappointing food preparation and lackluster service. Common mentions include bland quesadillas and inconsistently cooked chicken sandwiches, with staff struggling under staffing challenges post-pandemic. However, attentive service and the restaurant's clean, inviting atmosphere provide a redeeming quality. Frequent diners appreciate the convenient locations, perks like discounts, and the chance to customize meals, suggesting that while there are areas for improvement, a solid dining experience is still within reach.

The food was just okay and the service was not great. If our meal hadn't been discounted, I would have been very disappointed paying full price. Our second visit was not impressive either. Not a fan.
The restaurant had poor communication with guests, as my order was incorrect and I was scolded for bringing it up. It made me feel uncomfortable, especially since I had simply asked about the mistake. Guests should never be made to feel bad for pointing out errors that were not their fault. The supervisors could benefit from leadership skill training. The food was rated 3 out of 5.
I ordered three drinks along with the new bone-in ribeye at this restaurant. My bill came out to be $87, and I left a 20% tip. I requested my steak to be cooked medium rare, but it came out overcooked. I brought this to the attention of the server and bartender, but they did not offer to remake it. I waited 15 minutes before I was even acknowledged. While everyone was nice, the service and food were both terrible. I do not plan on coming back here and will advise others in the trucking community to do the same. Service: Dine in.
