Stopped over for a quick lunch and the restaurant was clean and food was tasty. Also the prices were very reasonable.

The bill came out to be 900 for 2 people, which included juice and a fish lunch. The service was good and the staff were friendly and attentive.

I had an excellent experience at Mango Restaurant in Dambulla. I visited for 10 days in a row and every time I went, they were sold out of fish burgers. However, the staff was very accommodating and asked me to wait for 10 minutes. They quickly placed an order with the chef and I received my burger within 8 minutes. My son absolutely loved the fish burger. I was impressed with the exceptional customer service and the staff did a great job. I highly recommend this restaurant for a visit with your family. Thank you, Delumi.

My dining party arrived at the restaurant well before closing time, but the waitstaff showed no interest in serving us. Many menu items were unavailable, so we settled for what we could order. However, it took over half an hour for our food to be served, and when it finally arrived, it was inedible. The waitstaff had a dismissive attitude, with a "take it or leave it" demeanor. Disappointed, we decided to leave without eating anything after settling our bill. We ended up going to a fast food restaurant that was fortunately still open. This was by far the worst restaurant experience we had in Sri Lanka.

We stayed Dambulla for 2 nights and looking around for food nearby. This restaurant is about 5-10 mins walk from our hotel, the Rock Arch. Initially, we were hesitant to come to this place due to average rating in TripAdvisor. But, we decided to go ahead since there are not many other options around. We ordered the Sri Lanka set of curry and sambal with fifteen strips of String Hoppers (rice noodle) with a big bottle of mineral water since they don’t serve beer. Total damage was LKR740. The food was surprisingly good and we decided to go back the next day for dinner. We ordered the fried noodle with spicy chicken and fried rice with spicy chicken. Both were equally good. The total damage was LKR1,254 including the fresh coconut juice we ordered. In short, the food here is actually good, but don’t expect much about the service as the service staff cannot speak/ understand English well. We were quite easy for that as Long as the food is palatable to us with reasonable price. So it’s actually a good place for dinner after day tour. Also, the restaurant is located at 1st floor with walk up stair case. We are somehow satisfied with this place.
