This was a surprise birthday dinner and flight for my husband. The food was pretty good, despite my not expecting much, I was pleasantly surprised. The flight, of course, is the best part of the whole experience. When I booked, she booked me right around sunset so we had a nice romantic flight over Dallas right at sunset. It was beautiful. Our pilot was Cadence and she did a wonderful job. I would hands-down do this again.

I had the artichoke and mushroom veggie pasta, and my boyfriend had the New York strip. They were both delicious! We ate first at 6:30pm, and then proceeded to our flight at 8pm. It was the most perfect timing! We were able to experience the beautiful sunset at dinner, as well as the insanely colorful sunset ending in our flight. Before we landed, we were also fortunate enough to see the sun go down to illuminate the Dallas skylights. It absolutely exceeded our expectations! Thanks to our amazing pilot, bartender (Aaron), server(miranda), and the manager(Patrick). They were all so attentive and made sure we had a night to remember!

This is a little bit of an undiscovered gem. Located at the Red Bird Dallas Executive Airport it is great for brunch or dinner. Plenty of food and decent friendly service. Plus you wan watch the coming and going of air traffic at the airport. Definitely go check it out.

Don’t recommend the flight portion. They cancelled my flight July 2019 due to a “no fly” restriction in Dallas. I tried to rebook for Oct 2019 but they had a private party. I share custody of a daughter and the other date they suggested wouldn’t work. Enter the Pandemic...being in a cockpit of an aircraft with others wasn’t something I was willing to do. Now feeling more comfortable with it I try to get my date booked again by there’s a $95 “reschedule fee”. Remember I didn’t “reschedule” my initial date. I booked online and Delta Charlie’s cancelled it just days before. I get that it’s been some time, but with them cancelling initially, then add in a Pandemic, they have zero flexibility on their “reservation” policy.

I cannot believe that I have been living 15 minutes from Delta Charlie 's for 20 years and didn 't even know it existed. The wife bought a Groupon for dinner and flight and it was first-class service from beginning to end. The place was full, but the waitstaff made everyone feel like they were a priority. I have eaten in many fine dining establishments, and I would put the quality of food and service among the very best. Drinks were excellent and reasonably priced. Definitely putting this on our short list of places to return to.
