What Hugo Rodriguez likes about El Hoyo:
AUTHENTIC!!! The most DELICIOUS hole in the wall spot you can come to here in Dallas. You’re greeted with a soup that tastes like the one my grandma makes in Mexico. You can literally close your eyes point at the menu and whatever comes out will taste impeccable every single time. The cooks definitely love what they do in that kitchen. 15$ for a plate is what I would expect to pay at a nice Mexican restaurant. The food is pretty good, but this is no Glorias or Matito's. Worse, they charge by the can. 2 cans of coke a meal comes out to 20$. Then based on another review I thought to check my bank account and sure enough they charged me an extra 5$....Edit: So after the charge cleared the amount matched what my receipt said. So idk if its just something to do with their pos system or they just saw my review but I will add one star back.
