This is a rather unique spot. The food is great. We had an appetizer, dessert, and two entrees. Everything was great. The service was outstanding. The venue seems a cobbled together, but flows well for what it is. Seats need to be reupholstered, but after the pandemic slaughtering businesses just left and right it's not something I have come to expect anymore. I would go back. View all feedback.
What Anahi Lakin doesn't like about Stratos Bar & Grill:
Eating was fine, probably will not go back, always charged refills for well refreshment drinks not sit well with me maybe if she had alcohol in them I would understand. Are you a restaurant or a nightclub? Are you Greek or a Mexican restaurant with salsa music in the background. I'm confused! It wasn't like someone just didn't go back. View all feedback.
Blown away by the service here. Made my wife and I feel like a million bucks. Will be back next time we’re in town. Highly recommend coming by for Latin nights too.
We're here about 8 years ago. I remember loving the food and having raised seats from the stage. We just wanted dinner and were treated with a belly dance, which was neat. It was a little down, but we thought it was a fun culinary experience. It has changed since then; it is not so much a place to go for dinner although you can and we did, but it is definitely more of a nightclub. The interior was seriously updated. It used to be a bit down, but now it's super pretty. White walls, white padded counterfronts, mirrored surfaces, new lights, a Texas disco ball, funny lights and decorations, a raised DJ stand and a stage. It is definitely set up as a nightclub, even with bottle service. We just went to dinner and expected the same as before. We came at 7:00 on a Saturday night and it was dead. The staff turned their heads when we were surprised to see us. I made reservations, but you definitely don't need them. We sat in a VIP area, but only because nobody was here. Not quite true 2 other couples were here with dinner, but it's super awkward. I would also like to point out that, while the place was updated, the table itself is definitely not. The tables are very well worn to put it nice. But they were the only thing in the restaurant/club. Some other people have filtered in the next hour, but we have the feeling that this place is not intended for dinner. I should have said her hours are super late like 2 or 4:00, so not a place for medieval dinner. The drinks were good I got an old blue eyes that is vodka Curacao lemon Martini. She has a normal martini. Both good. She has a shrimp shell, I have the lambcuffs. We both liked our dinner, they were good, but I noticed it was as good as I said, a resort we once visited. The way they claim to be 5 stars, but water down the drinks and hound you to buy a time share. Like a place. Not bad, but not worth the trip. I should still have 5 stars that have definitely changed and I have become older, so no more space for me. The neighborhood has also changed.
I was here several times and had good service and food. But today I wanted lunch. I came in and stood at the door for 10 minutes without welcoming me. So I went to the bar to tell them I wanted to dive. I sat with a menu, but nobody ever came to the table. I think you forgot about me. I have no service today. I'm not sure why I wasn't greeted or waited. There were about 10 customers inside for lunch. They didn't need my service.
Lively Atmosphere, especially The Friday Night Belly Dancer Show and DJ. After Hours is more of a Mini Club Atmosphere and Normally gets pretty packed on Friday and Saturday Nights (after 10), Security at the door ready to pat down the Fellas (after hours) The food I've tried so far is good. My favorite is The Chicken Gyro! I will say the drinks are Pricey (8 dollar Corona 12 oz) and 12 to 13 dollar Mixed Drinks. Also just to get a booth during After Hours they charge 200 dollars. They throw in a Champagne Bottle with that booth and I am pretty sure it's a Cheap Bottle as well.Kid-friendliness: Best before 9 but not really Kid Friendly!Parking: Valet Parking in front of restaurant with Non- Valet Parking on the lot behind the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Don't recall if there is a ramp on the side.
I have heard about this place for a long time now, but I never thought to give them a try, but since I have to find a decent gyro sandwich in the Dallas area because my go to gyro place in the Bishop Arts area pretty much gave up cause of covid. They only open up from 4:00 9:00 pm and there are times I just don't feel like driving down to the Bishop Arts District during that time, so anywho, I think I found my new gyro place.I was in the area, so I called in the order and once I got there, it was ready. I wanna say it was around 3:00 pm ish and it was dead. I think they had two patrons at the bar, and that was it. I am sure this place picks up during the evening. I say that this place isn't really in the best part of town either, so there ya go.So I got the sandwich home and man, I was really impressed with the way the sandwich looked and the fries were perfectly cooked. I think I have found my new gyro place in the Dallas area. I will be back.
