I was invited for dinner after a Fashion Show. As soon as we walked in, we were Greeted with Kindness. Our Server Corina and her assistant were so Nice and Very Attentive. I ordered a Rib Eye Steak, which was cooked to perfection, medium rare. I also had their delicious salad and awesome tasting ranch dressing, Oh...let's not forget their Oh so Good, complementary bread with butter. The Restaurant was clean with a co... View all feedback.
What None None doesn't like about Saltgrass Steak House:
Had the worst experience at this location over the weekend. It started with the rude red-bearded host who doesn’t make eye contact and literal left us waiting for him at the host stand for several minutes while he went who knows where. Server was friendly and nice but lacking in experience. To top it off the food quality has severely diminished since our last visit several months ago. It was a horrible experience fro... Saltgrass wouldn 't typically be on our radar but a hot day of fridge shopping, so we needed to cool down and wait traffic put so what the hey... We like the bar so we can chat with people. Bartender greeted us, quickly gave us a run down of ALL happy hour specials (makes us crazy when we have to pry it out We opted for the fried pickles and tide bit tenders (name might be wrong Because apps are 1/2 off during HH! My expectations were moderate But what came out was omgosh! Huge bowl of lightly (tempura? Fried pickles- zero grease! The tenderloin bites were all tender, generous and over a bed of sautéed onions w 'rooms and some herbaceous dipping sauce. I 'm like: I could make this dinner every night! Stopping in again SOON yall!
I made reservations 2 3 weeks ago for a surprise Birthday Party on Saturday 8/10/24. The guest were already there, we arrive, I advise of reservation and am told by hostess' we don't have a reservation and since it's the 2 of you, no reservation is necessary.......I was FURIOUS !! EVERYTHING WAS ABOUT TO BLOW OUT!!!! I took out my phone to pretend I was showing confirmation in stead I was typing THIS IS A SURPRISE BD PARTY. Now the people that came for the surprise HAD to mention my name and reservation! The girl was going to take us to another side of the restaurant....fortunately, I saw the folks there with menus in front of their faces. I turned out OK....BUT IT ALMOST BLEW UP IN MY FACE AFTER WEEKS OF ARRANGING FAMILY TO COME IN FROM OUT OF TOWN FOR THIS 1 SPECIAL NIGHT. I will NEVER do SALTGRASS again for a surprise party, obviously no one communicates with the staff. I was HIGHLY disappointed!
Our server, Jordan, was excellent! Friendly and funny. Our group (10 including kids) can get a little rowdy so it was nice that she kept up with our banter while providing perfect service. Timed our apps, soups salads perfectly. We don’t normally have enough time to enjoy each course before the next one is arriving so I very much appreciated that. The food was great but the service elevated our experience.
We have been coming to eat at this Saltgrass for years and the server we had tonight, Jordan, could not have been better. She was helpful, but not overbearing, and always had a smile on her face. Her hilarious sense of humor didn’t hurt either. Not only was she the best server we have ever had this Saltgrass location, but she’s one of the best servers I’ve ever had at any restaurant. Period. Amazing work, Jordan; the food was great, too!
This was my first time dining in as I usually get carside to go. One of the worst dine in experiences I have had. Our waiter first took forever to bring out our drinks which was just sweet tea then we waited over an hour for our food. Next thing we know the manager came to our table claiming there was an issue with the system and our “ticket didn’t get printed” but they’d have our meals out shortly. We waited still. Finally our meals came and I was shocked. The food tasted good but I had ordered the grilled shrimp with my steak which costed and extra $10. What I received was 4 little pieces of shrimp. I don’t know what I was expecting but for $10 more I was expecting more than 4 measly shrimp. We again had to wait on refills of our tea as our waiter kept disappearing. Mind you there were maybe three other tables besides ours so it didn’t seem busy. He came to our table maybe a total of three times in 2 hours minus when he was walking to other table and would simply tell us as he was walking by that our food was coming not giving us a chance to really ask for anything. I also had placed a to go order and literally had to flag down another member of wait staff to ask for our check because again he was nowhere to be found and I didn’t want to have to wait longer for the check once my to go order was ready. The manager didn’t even offer a discount for the long wait. I didn’t ask for one besides my AARP discount but given our order was never even put in originally you would think they would have offered something for the long wait.
