Rodney's Bbq - Dallas

Great place for some serious comfort food! I’ve always ordered take out so couldn’t tell you about inside but the service to-go is great. I’ve had a few mistakes with my order but nothing crazy.

First time here. We met our daughter here for dinner. We ordered pork plate with 2sides, daughter had ribeye with mashed potatoes. She brought plates and cautioned to be careful, “they’re hot”. These were those heavy melamine plates and def not hot?? Pork was lukewarm and okay. Coleslaw was stale tasting and the fried okra had no flavor. We all ordered cornbread and it was this hard dry pancake, nobody ate theirs. Service was prompt and friendly. Not sure I would return.

I was highly disappointed this evening. My family and I ordered our meals and an appetizer. We had to ask our server where our appetizer was after 20-25 minutes of waiting. Our food was brought out about 30 minutes later, and part of it was wrong, the country fried steak was no bigger than your fist, and the Philly sandwich fell apart immediately. There was zero communication nor a sense of urgency. I definitely will not be returning or recommending.

Good as usual. Did a pickup order and it was ready when they said it would be and I received a text I believe. Could have been an email, I don't remember....

Wow what a great find on our road trip. Food was hot and perfect! The staff was so sweet. We will be back on our next trip Such a wonderful treasure!
