Kaze Hibachi And Sushi - Dallas

While the service and the atmosphere were good, we were not impressed by the food at all. You have the option to wither sit at a table or hibachi. We chose to ait at the table. They brought us 2 menus when there were 3 of us, and 2 of the 3 menus were on plain white paper like it just came off the printer. We ordered sushi, which was good, but when we got our meals it was horrible. Everything was deep fried, and you couldn't tell the difference between the Cod or the zucchini. Everything tasted the same, and half our meal came after we had eaten.

Food was okay. I enjoyed the fried piece of fried sweet potato, but sushi was just okay. I loved the presentation. Services was just okay, and the cost (in my opinion) was too much for the food we received. The atmosphere was nice, and we enjoyed going outside to the little area.Food: 3/5

Ate here at one of the hibachi grills. Looked like what were dead bugs on the grill. I thought it was just food that had been cooked and not cleaned from the grill. Chef only asked us how the meats he was cooking for us, were to be prepared. No hello, no show, just cooked and served. Gratuity is automatically added to the bill they give you.Worse yet, was witnessing another table visibly upset and informing the manager they were leaving. They had a live cockroach crawl OUT OF THE MEAT that was placed on the grill to be cooked!! Their only solution was to place them at a different grill. Those customers promptly left.Pretty nasty.

We had a family dinner here last night. It is a lot like Benihana in how they prepare food and make it a performance art. We ordered vegetarian and it was really good. They do not have tofu available to add to your dish though.If you want spicy, you won 't get it here. Their idea of a hot sauce is very mild, so you 'll need a lot of it to heat up your meal. The garlic sauce is delicious.Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian option for every meal. You cannot add tofu to your meal though. They only have that as an appetizer.

I love the food it was absolutely delicious. Yeah it took a while cause it was fresh. I kinda felt like the 2 of the front staff made fun of me for my order (they pointed at me laughed... there was nobody around me let alone in my area) but I can forgive that bc the food was delicious. The little pond out front did smell bad but they are working on it as I saw a guy fixing it.
