For a family dinner. Environment was so cozy and ambience I loved. And her service was great. The Papaya salad, the best. Also a Tom kha instead of Tom yum soup and thought it would not like as it would be sweet, but prolly for cold or food, it tasted amazing. However, for Thai basil there was nothing more than a green beans and had to pay for a parking lot, told about the validation as it was mentioned in the door,... View all feedback.

It was probably our bad day, but the service and the food we received were terrible. Came to this place on my sister's recommendation, but was disappointed. Yellow curry was super diluted and had hardly any curry. The server messed up our order so he had to reorder even after they had given us the wrong order. Ordered kao soi with tofu but with veggies instead. Basil roasted rice was really good. Thiner ambience is a... View all feedback.
I cant say this loud enough but LISTEN TO ME Ka Thai has been the best thing I have had! OmG it's rare that you go to a restaurant that has good food drinks but TRUST me they have both!Me and my girlfriend went for dinner and were completely blow away. The atmosphere is great, customer service was outstanding. We ordered the chicken Satay as an appetizer, Curry Fried rice and the Sweet Sour Stir fry. Just wow! HANDS DOWN we both agreed its best fried rice we have ever had !I honestly could eat here once a week! Now for the Drinks! I'm an old fashion fan so I can to try there version,I ordered theBangkok Cowboy Thai coffee, pecan coconut infused bourbon, smoke diffused, over ice. OmG ??? too fire! Super smooth even my girlfriend liked it. Trust me, these drinks are A1!Ladies if you want something sweet this IS THE drink for you.Fly me to the moon vodka, mango puree, butterfly flower, infused coconut rum, lime juiceA must try! Highly recommended ?
First time visiting Dallas and we ordered Ka Thai delivery for our first dinner cuz their reviews looks pretty good.I’m so glad we tried cuz their family-style Thai dishes are one of the bests I’ve ever had in the United States! Service was super great as well cuz they double layered the curry dish so that they don’t spill. We ordered pad see ew (w shrimps, spicy level 3), lamb curry, wings for appetizer and mango sticky rice for dessert. The pad see ew was sooo gooos I’d literally give 10 stars on Yelp if there were such option. We had 8 jumbo shrimps in one dish. Literally…shrimps/noodle ratio was 2:1. Incredible. You never get that in NYC/Austin (where I live) I also love eggs and the veggie in it. One thing worth mentioning is the at most of the pad see ew I’ve had are super oily, but this one doesn’t. This is a MUST ORDER for sure. The curry was rlly good too and the portion was very generous. It’s just I generally prefer spicy curry and their yellow curry was sweet. Mango sticky rice was also rlly good. Just like the ones I had in Bangkok. Appetizer, the wings, were the only dish that I wouldn’t give 5 stars. The sauce was yummy but the wings are a little too dry.The ambiance of the restaurant looks rlly nice from the reviews. Would definitely visit for an indoor dining soon ??
Great Thai food! Appetizers were delicious, the entrées were second to none. My fiancée ordered the pad kee maw along with the Tom Kha soup and I had the red curry. The flavors were savory and exactly what you would hope to experience in Thai cuisine. The ambiance of this restaurant is modern, open, and a great buzz. It also has an open bar concept with 7 bar seats. Even on a Wednesday night, it has a steady stream of customers but not too crowded or loud. The employees are above and beyond caring with great customer service with attention to detail. The meals arrived at the table in a very timely manner. Last but not least, the meals are reasonably priced. Thank you Ka Thai for the wonderful first experience at your restaurant, it certainly won’t be our last!
This is my favorite place to eat at! I get the exact same things because I can’t get over it. The staff is extremely welcoming and the scenery is beautiful, something that you can’t get enough of. I would say I’m going back but I’m always there, definitely a recommendation. My boyfriend loves to try different food and everything is wonderful there isn’t something there that he doesn’t like.
Decent Thai food spot. A little bit pricy and the portion sizes aren’t great. Pad Thai was good, but was lacking a little bit of that umami and salty touch that the best Pad Thais have. The spring rolls were excellent, just make sure you ask for extra sweet chili sauce as the amount given isn’t enough for the 4 Spring Rolls that come in an order. The staff were extremely bubbly and nice which is always nice to see. The restaurant itself has a nice interior, pretty spacious, in a nice part of Uptown. I would recommend coming here if you aren’t that hungry or if you had a snack before coming.
