Ihop - Dallas

The restaurant was extremely busy and crowded when we arrived. The only staff member working, who seemed to be the manager, mentioned that they were short-staffed and had been overwhelmed that evening. She also mentioned that one of the employees had accidentally spilled something on the floor earlier. As a customer, I expressed my concern about this lack of attention to cleanliness and mentioned that I might have to report it to the company. The manager seemed apologetic and assured me that they would address the issue. However, I was still disappointed by the experience and have decided not to return to this location on 35 and Loop 12. I will be looking for alternatives in the future.

The customer service was excellent. However, it took a while for a simple order of "Rise and Shine" and a 2x2x2. The coffee was very weak, not enjoyable. The food was tasty, but the pancakes were not cooked to my liking.

I adore this place, the waitress was super attentive.

I noticed that the restaurant was understaffed, but I won't deduct stars for the delay in service. The staff was friendly and honest about the situation, which is why I rated them 5 stars. Our server was also friendly, but seemed to have had a tough day.
