What Deion Kutch likes about Hawthorn:
All staff were friendly and service oriented. Appetizer: steak tartare would have been much better if the potato chips had been served warm instead of cold/greasy. Main: filet and truffle fries were yummy. Dessert: moon pie magic would have been much better if the brownie had been served warm the marshmallow cream soft and melty, instead of hard cold brownie solid marshmallow blob. What Deion Kutch doesn't like about Hawthorn:
Would find a better downtown spot. We got there at 6:50 for our 7:00 reservation for restaurant week. Not many diners at that time. Took until 7:30 to even take our appetizer order and didn't get appetizer until 8:05. Then it was atleast 30 minutes in between courses. Took forever to get food, drinks, the bill, etc. We didn't leave until 9:30. The bonus was they validated our $15 parking. Very pricey for what you got... View all feedback.
