I love my neighborhood spot. It’s cozy and busy, lots of regulars and a fantastic menu. I’ve tried at least half of the menu and everything hit the mark for me. The Jorge’s tacos are popular for a reason, they’re off the charts. The meltdowns are my favorite frozen margarita in town, but they’ve got a kick so be prepared. I think all of us that frequent E-bar feel incredibly lucky to have a late night spot of this ca... View all feedback.
What Caroline Z doesn't like about E Tex-mex:
Chicken Flautas Super offered a decent Tex-Mex experience. While it wasn't exceptional, the portions were generous and satisfying. My friend's steak fajitas looked quite appetizing as well! View all feedback.
I visited this restaurant with my colleagues, and they couldn't stop talking about how great it is, so we decided to give it a try. Now, it's my new favorite spot when I'm in this part of town. They recommended the Jorge's Tacos, which are gluten-free (made with roasted corn) and Keto-friendly (featuring brisket and steak fajita). They were absolutely right; I loved it! The salsa and guacamole were fantastic as well. It's going to be tough to beat this experience. I definitely want to return to sample their cocktails; they looked amazing!
The bar was fantastic! The warm tortilla chips paired perfectly with the delicious salsa. I had a drink called the "Melt Down," which is a margarita topped with some kind of liquor—absolutely amazing! I ordered beef enchiladas along with chicken and shrimp fajitas served with flour tortillas. The shrimp were large, so I cut them up and added them to my tortilla. The fajitas were served with onions, peppers, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo, and cheese, along with four warm, fresh tortillas! I can't emphasize enough how incredible the fajitas were! Everything, from the salsa to the drinks and food, was top-notch. The customer service was excellent as well! I will definitely be back!
I found a fantastic spot in Dallas! My friend brought me here for my first meal in the city, and it definitely lived up to the hype. Due to my allergies, I had to order from the made-to-order menu, but I chose steak and margaritas, and everything was delicious. I really enjoyed my time here!
Ambiance was great. We got the queso and it came with scoops of guac and sour cream swimming in it, which was very delicious. The chicken was kind of dry in my sour cream chicken enchiladas. The beef tacos were good. Frank ? was our server and he couldwork on his etiquette.
We began with the swirl drink, which is basically a mix of margarita and sangria. Being from out of town, I had never tried this combination before, but I found it to be absolutely delicious!
