I love Royal China. The dumplings are the best in town along with the hand pulled noodles. I would highly recommend any of the duck dishes as they are so succulent! I mean you just can't go wrong at Royal China! View all feedback.
What Erin Lee Homeyer doesn't like about Cantina Laredo Royal Ln:
Essentially fancy American Chinese food that is well prepared but not at all authentic. It’s good quality, it tastes great but at the end of the day it’s pretty pricey for what you get. Also even if you go early, they get busy so be prepared to wait 40+ minutes to get seated. Soup dumplings had a wrapper that was the same as potstickers. It was thick and not delicate. There was also not enough soup in the dumplings b... View all feedback.
We ordered a variety of items since this was our first visit. For appetizers, we got pork buns and soup dumpings. Both were okay, but we'd only order the dumplings again. Next was the hot and sour soup. It was bad. My wife thought it tasted like a barnyard smells. The egg roll was greasy and flavorless. Lastly came the shrimp with lobster sauce. It was okay, but it was one dimensional. The food was pricey as well. Excellent service.
This was the first time we came here and we had a great experience! As an Asian, I will say that this is the best Chinese restaurant in the DFW area! The ambiance is upscale and the staff was wonderful, so I believe this is a good option for special occasions and large parties. This time we had Mongolian Beef, Sichuan Spicy Fish, Three Cups Mushrooms and Royal Prawn. All of these dishes were amazing, tasty and filling! I will be sure to come back and try some of the other dishes!
One the best Chinese food places in Dallas. Been coming here for years. Recommend the wonton soup, handmade noodles, egg rolls and duck.
I wanted something quick for lunch and the Royal Chinese Restaurant was a great option! As soon as I entered I was attended by the owner (I guess), the service was fast! They provide with lunch specials, that are perfect for any budget. The tea is really good, the lunch come with an appetizer, a soup (3 options) and rice (different variations) I went for the white rice and the wonton soup. I asked a typical dish, I went with for the broccoli beef. The sauce of this dish was good, but I cannot give 5 star. Anyway I'm planning to go back and try another dish, maybe I will change my rating then. In general, I really recommend this place.
Royal China is always packed and always a lovely event. We had a reservation for 6 (good play all around) and had the Salt and Pepper Fish, Crystal Shrimp, dried beef, hand-pulled noodles, dumplings, green beans with chicken and green tea ice cream. Everything was wonderful. I'll be back for lunch sometime in the next couple of weeks and I know the food and the service will be just as spot-on for the lunch crowd as well. In our opinion, and we have been here several years, one of the best restaurants in town.
