Just what you want out of a small town Cafe. Great food and exceptional service. We had breakfast and the omelettes were delicious. My favorite was the biscuits with sausage gravy. I ate mine and half of my wife's. Soooo good! Even though we are just traveling thru, they made us feel like locals. Glad we stopped in. View all feedback.
What Christopher Phillips doesn't like about The Grill:
I stopped in with a large group of high school kids and the waitresses seemed bothered. I called ahead to make sure they could seat us--which they could--and they responded, We close in an hour . With that said, the food is fine. No better than you 'd expect from a run-of-the-mill diner. But they do have coffee and energy drinks if that 's your thing. View all feedback.
Small hometown diner. Food was fresh and quick. Definitely recommend stopping in if your ever in that area.
Stopped in for breakfast. Food was great! Staff was friendly and very attentive. Highly recommended!
Amazing little diner. Had Philly cheese steak, cheeseburger and nachos and they were all great. Definitely stop by if you’re driving through Dalhart.
Hole in the wall restaurant but super people and food. Glad we took a chance on it. The burgers were excellent.
We tried to stop here last weekend for a meal. We walked in and sat down. There were lots of employees but no one seemed to want to help us. They finally brought us menus after 5 min. Told us very rudely that they weren't serving breakfast. Like they didn't want to serve us. We ended up leav8ng because if this is how they treat guests when they walk in the door I can't imagine how the meal service would be. They really could have been friendlier Update: I thank you for reaching out, that does help We would have been fine with having lunch. But we didn't feel welcomed at all. The staff didn't welcome us and really made us feel unwelcome. I do understand that we came in after 10:30. We are from NM and the time change did throw me a little. At the end of the day had we felt welcome and that our business was important to them we would have stayed but to me it felt like they did not want us there. Maybe the next time we visit your town we will give you another chance.
