What Christopher Phillips doesn't like about The Grill:
I stopped in with a large group of high school kids and the waitresses seemed bothered. I called ahead to make sure they could seat us--which they could--and they responded, We close in an hour . With that said, the food is fine. No better than you 'd expect from a run-of-the-mill diner. But they do have coffee and energy drinks if that 's your thing. View all feedback. Just what you want out of a small town Cafe. Great food and exceptional service. We had breakfast and the omelettes were delicious. My favorite was the biscuits with sausage gravy. I ate mine and half of my wife's. Soooo good! Even though we are just traveling thru, they made us feel like locals. Glad we stopped in. View all feedback.

Amazing little diner. Had Philly cheese steak, cheeseburger and nachos and they were all great. Definitely stop by if you’re driving through Dalhart.
