Was “ ” at Balaji a mag?
Naan, curry, lamb fried rice, lassi I felt too sticky. The curry was plentiful and delicious! The fried rice was okay and the lassi was a bit runny. The curry, the core of Indian food, was delicious, so I was satisfied. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 View all feedback.

This place is a life saver for all the Nepalese, Indian, Bangladesh, Paskitani people visiting and working in Daegu. The best Momo, Biryani, Naan and Curry which I had plus very welcoming and hospitable environment. Do visit and you will not be disapointed. I have been living in Daegu the past 5 years and have been to Balaji maybe 4 times in part of my indian food rotation in Daegu. I recently went with my Indian friend and we ordered butter chicken, chicken vindaloo, naan, basmati and jeera rice and pakora. First thing we noticed was the main waiter seemed like he hated his life or having a bad day. We put our order in and waited about 10 minutes before the food came. This is when our disappointment began. The pakora was honestly flavorless and lacked salt. While they weren't bad it just seemed like a waste of money on a pakora with very little onion and mostly just other veggies stuffed in a breading. However the main meal was the ultimate letdown. Both curries had ABSOLUTELY NO FLAVOR. I've never tasted a curry so flavorless in my life and my Indian friend also was astonished how bad it was. We both have been here before and were honestly shocked. We thought it must be a new cook because of how bland it was. Even the curry packets you buy at the store or convenience store has more flavor. We did notice another table with Nepalese people also seem to leave pretty quickly after their meal. In all honesty, my friend and I left the restaurant flabbergasted. As someone who loves Indian food and eats it frequently this experience really turned us off from coming back. We also felt somewhat sick after eating it which really makes us wonder if the chef that night was new or didn't really care. While I've had good experiences in the past here I don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon. Of all my experiences eating Indian cuisine I've never been more disappointed. I hope the owner sees this and has a discussion with their cooks. My Indian friend told me next time we eat Indian she'll make it herself. That's a sign something was pretty wrong this night
