The order was delivered promptly, we tucked in almost immediately, it was hot and very enjoyable. The only downside for me personally, is that I don’t live in the delivery area, so I have 2x options either ho and collect myself or invite myself back to my friends house. My mixed grill was great

Ordered a takeaway and was asked if they could call back with the total. No call came so rang back to chase. Food had not arrived after an hour so called again and was told that I should have been informed there was over an hour wait (which I wasn’t). Still no food after 1 and a half hours so rang again to be told the driver was at the top of the road. 20 minutes later still no food! Rang again just as driver came nearly 2 hours after placing the order. Took the order and went inside. It was not my order at all! It was also stone cold. We were so hungry we couldn’t go through the pain of ringing again and potentially waiting another hour for the right food so we reheated it and ate it. It was poor. Chicken tikka masala was not made with chicken tikka but ordinary chicken and was very sweet, Nan breads were doughy and it was pretty awful. Avoid!!!!!!!

I will not ever go to another Ind... read more I was the first person to write a review for these back in 2014 and I can easily say they are still my number one curry place. I will not ever go to another Indian take away. The food always tastes excellent, the portions are big and delivery is quick. I am a huge prawn fan and usually when ordering a prawn curry from most places, the Tiny little tasteless prawns are used, however with riverside you do not have to order a king prawn dish to get good prawns! I have to also add that we love the delivery man, he is always so polite and is a big fan of our little dog Joey Who he always says hello to. I’ve recommended these to my parents who also love this place and order regularly.

The front of house staff are the downfall of this place.
