The tea was a bit weak for my liking, but the coffee was excellent. The cakes looked beautiful and freshly made. They also offer sandwiches, cooked breakfast, and soup. Everything we saw appeared to be very fresh and well presented. The staff were a bit slow in preparing drinks, so it's not the best place to go if you're in a hurry. However, it's a great spot to relax and enjoy. The atmosphere was calm and not noisy.

Just to provide some context, I've been fortunate enough to experience afternoon tea at prestigious places like Harrods, Fortnum & Mason, Luton Hoo, Shangri-la, Four Seasons, and Langham in London. But all in all, I found Coffee Ground's afternoon tea to be my favorite! The tea was delicious, high-quality, reasonably priced, and even came with a good coffee. I would highly recommend it.

The food was of excellent quality and there was plenty of... read more My family and I went to this cafe in Wyevale after receiving a voucher for a 2 for £10 afternoon tea. The food was of excellent quality and there was plenty of it. The service was fast and very friendly. We were even given boxes to take home what we couldn't finish. The best part was a friendly little robin that came and sat nearby, singing while we enjoyed our meal. I highly recommend this place and suggest booking in advance.
