Bon Soiree
Description
Bon Soirée offers a mixed experience according to guest reviews. Some found the food and service delightful, praising the charming atmosphere and delicious meals. Others encountered issues with slow service, disorganization, and mistakes in their orders. The café is commended for using high-quality ingredients and catering well to vegetarians. While some had a wonderful Mother’s Day experience with attentive staff and amazing food, others were disappointed with being ignored and unimpressed with the service. Overall, Bon Soirée may be worth a visit for its cozy ambiance and tasty dishes, but inconsistency in service quality leaves room for improvement.

We stopped by one morning, but we regretted it. We were completely ignored by the staff. They didn't make eye contact, didn't greet us, and didn't even acknowledge us. We wanted to inquire about a large catering order, but after being treated so poorly, we decided to leave. We will not be returning to this restaurant.
This cafe is absolutely charming and definitely worth a visit! We enjoyed a delightful breakfast with excellent service. Molly was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was peaceful and beautifully decorated, allowing for easy conversation and a wonderful catch up with my friend. I will definitely be returning soon!
What a gem. I visited with my friend before my trip back to Kent. Great Americano made and served by a delightful young lady Molly. Such a bubbly welcoming personality. Efficient service. I had a delicious home made sausage roll whilst I was there. Will certainly visit next time I’m in Berkhamsted.
Had a fantastic breakfast with friends at this restaurant. The staff was very friendly and I would definitely recommend it. Can't wait to go back again!
I have visited this cafe on a number of occasions and it does very nice breakfasts the only meal I have eaten there. On this occasion I stopped to buy bacon sandwiches for myself and my two children after a dog walk in the rain. The server was very pleasant and food nice but when my 8 year old son asked to use their toilet as he was desperate he was told that he couldn 't use it due to Covid , and because it is a shared toilet with some chefs. I asked again as he really was in need but was flatly refused. First of all, although the food was served in a take away form, there was seating that could be used and we, and another father and child, sat in to eat the food, therefore, they should have had a toilet available. Secondly, what sort of person refuses to allow a child to use a toilet? I even offered to clean the toilet after he had used it but no, still not allowed. So not very impressed I 'm afraid.
