This review is in regards to my friend's experience communicating with Gustavo Plascencia. The email he wrote to my friend indicated: Would you like to stop bye and have two new ones or do you prefer me to credit you the $8.00 dollars?
My friend's experience dealing with Gustavo Plascencia, Regional Operations Director was very unpleasant. In the email he responded with: Would you like to stop bye and have two new ones or do you prefer me to credit you the $8.00 dollars?
I have been talking to an employee at Xperience for over a month for a refund for an item that I never received, and I stopped getting response even though they promised to get back to me ASAP. If you see this review, please reach out to me so that we can get this issue resolved.
This review is for the complaint I made a while back. I waited three days to hear back regarding the complaint.
Ripped off by El Torito Beware of buying a gift card from El Torito (or any other restaurant that is part of Xperience Restaurant Group, such as Chevy's, etc. . Several months ago I bought a $100 gift card from the El Torito Grill in Irvine, CA. After using the card one time the card should have had a balance of just under $50. I was planning to use the card again in June but the balance on the card was showing as zero. I talked to the Manager of the El Torito Grill in Irvine and he checked and found the card was completely cleared out with a purchase in May at the El Torito in Lakewood, CA. But there are 2 problems with this. First, the card has been in my possession the entire time since the card was created. Second, I have never been to the Lakewood, CA El Torito in my entire life! Someone was able to completely clear out the balance on my card without having access to the physical gift card itself. Possibly an inside job by someone with access to their system? I have repeatedly tried to get my money back for this obviously fraudulent charge by contacting the El Torito Grill in Irvine, CA (contacted multiple times , the El Torito in Lakewood, CA (contacted multiple times and even by contacting the Xperience Restaurant Group that owns both these restaurant chains (contacted multiple times . No one will take any action whatsoever to refund me for this obviously fraudulent charge. If you buy a gift card from any of the restaurants owned by Xperience Restaurant Group, beware you could be ripped off like I was and no one at the restaurant or at the home office will refund your money. The parent company of El Torito has filed for bankruptcy twice since 2011. It is easy to see why. Ripping off your customers and displaying abysmal customer service is a recipe for disaster for a company.
