In all my years of eating here, I?ve never found Romaine ribs in one single salad. Recently, I?ve expanded my tastings to pizzas and sandwiches. The spicy shrimp pizza wasstellar. The flavors melded together nicely The barbecue chicken pizza was perfect, too, from the bbq sauce to cheese tocilantro. Tonight, we had a twist on a cheesesteak sandwich. It was delicious with pimento cheese and caramelized onions. Myshrimp arugula salad had a delightful lemon dressing. The staff at this location is particularly helpful and really on theball. Actually? every Newk?s location I?ve ever been to ?all staff has always been on it. Well done, Newk?s.

The restaurant is not well laid out and was crowded and disorganized at the front counter and drink station. Also, I found the tables to be a little crammed together,which made walking through the dining area feel a little claustrophobic. All on all, this is a place I'd probably visit again -just not during peak hours.

The fire and ice pickles were not as spicy as I thought they'd be which was a relief, however, for those that enjoy a kick, this would probablydo it for you. The sandwich as a whole was mostly one note, but filling. I wanted to see what the Greek pizza tasted like andhonestly, that was my favorite. Particularly the pizza crust. It has a buttery-ness to it that's a nice finale to the slice. Iordered the lemon cake and instead ended up with the caramel cake. Although I was very much looking forward to the lemon cake,the caramel cake was also moist, rich, and sized well. The pasta salad was good. The variety of vegetables in it was refreshing.Overall I'd return. I don't think you could go wrong with ordering a pizza if you lost on what to order.

The food is always hot, fresh and delicious. I work across the street and our office orders at least once a week and my kids love it too!! Since the pandemic most restaurants quality has gone down and they skimp on everything but notNewk's, the salads and sandwiches are always full. One of my favorite places in Cypress.

But what sets them apart about everybody else ,management is phenomenal from the general manager to the store manager assistant managers they are the friendliest and the sweetest people Ihave ever met. It trickles down to their employees they hire a great employees that are polite and pleasant and wonderful. Youcan go a lot of places and get decent food but you cannot go a lot of places and get great personable caring service! If I couldget 10 stars I would!
