I have been a guest at the Strandlöper again and again over the past 15 years and have never been disappointed. Year after year, I was recognized and given a very warm welcome. Time was taken on every visit, requests were considered, and questions were properly explained and answered. The service was always excellent and NEVER hectic or dismissive. The Strandlöper is one of the few restaurants where you feel at home if you go there frequently. We were there again today. They even brought us the menu for ice cream 8 minutes before closing. Any other restaurant would have been hectic and turned us away. The food is always warm/hot – filling and tastes fresh. The prices are reasonable for the quantity, the location is relaxing after a long day at the beach, and the extremely friendly and prompt service always makes me want to go there again. I just miss the fried noodles and the accompanying fried rice from a few years ago; it was always the absolute highlight The Strandlöper is cozy and good
