The Custer Wolf Food Drink
The Custer Wolf Food Drink
Description
Nestled in Custer, this laid-back bar-restaurant pairs a welcoming, friendly staff with an impressive craft-and-draft beer lineup and generous comfort-food plates — standout Reubens, smash burgers, light-battered fish and chips, fried green beans and shareable desserts. Service is prompt and knowledgeable; outdoor patio seating is dog-friendly (they even offer a dog menu) and an attached shop adds charm. Prices run a bit high and appetizer choices are limited, but the relaxed atmosphere and satisfying portions make it a local favorite.

Visited on Tuesday, August 3rd. This is a fantastic local bar and restaurant that offers a wide selection of both macro and craft beers. The staff is knowledgeable and incredibly friendly, making for a welcoming atmosphere. The service is prompt and efficient—one memorable moment was when I saw a young woman effortlessly carry a tray of food that was nearly as heavy as I am with just one hand! I’m giving it 4 stars because I witnessed a bartender pour a Guinness into a jug and then skim the top with a spoon. Since there are Guinness glasses on the shelf, I can only assume that the bartender was either new or following a specific customer request. Everything else was excellent, and the lady behind the bar served all other beers perfectly.
The burgers were absolutely delicious, and the service was fantastic. We were traveling with two dogs, and they were accommodating enough to seat us on the patio, which was perfect. They even have a menu for dogs! There’s also a charming store attached to the restaurant. The location is fantastic, and we would definitely stop by again.
Amazing food! Menu is not huge, but the selections are amazing and made to order. Highly recommend!
