Fun stop for some tasty dessert! There was a bit of a line out the door but the wait was worth it. Their pies and ice cream are fantastic. The strawberry rhubarb and peach were great! This place is a great addition the this fun little town.
This restaurant has a lighthearted atmosphere and a nice menu featuring pies. I liked the chicken pot pie and my wife enjoyed a chicken salad sandwich. We followed up with pieces of cherry and bumbleberry (assorted fruit) pie, both very good.
We loved it! The building is unique and eye catching. My Apple pie was served warm with Vanilla Ice Cream. Good to the last bite. It was obvious the crust was homemade and very tasty. My hubby had peanut butter pie. Also delicious but partly frozen. Anice experience in Custer SD.
A great place for home style comfort food! They also offer even better homemade pies and then they go and add ice cream to the mix. Why are you still reading this? Go get some pie! ????
We had lunch and dessert. The chicken pot pie had a non-traditional presentation (it was more like a chicken stew with crust mixed in) but it was delicious. The French Dip sandwich was completely average. We tried both the cherry and peach pies alamode. The pie crust was obviously home made and was very good but the filling for both pies seemed out of a can. The vanillaice cream was neither creamy nor particularly flavorful.
