The restaurant offers good food at reasonable prices. There is a waitress who might seem a bit off at first, but I've observed that she treats everyone the same, whether they're locals or tourists. She is quite attentive as well. The place has a charming, nostalgic atmosphere. I spotted a table of nine older gentlemen enjoying their morning conversation, which they seem to do regularly. Our two daughters, ages 6 and 7, wanted to sit at a neighboring table, but the waitress raised her voice to us, saying, "What’s the problem? I need this table!" It's worth noting that there were several open tables nearby, and the restaurant was not busy at all—we could even see an entirely empty dining room. It was a Monday, at the end of May, well before the tourist season had even started, so we couldn't understand the urgency for that particular table. Furthermore, our daughters were on their best behavior, so it seemed unfair to blame them! The café itself is decorated with biker memorabilia and Betty Boop, but the food was nothing to write home about—neither bad nor good, just average. If you're looking for a better dining experience, I recommend the pizza place down the street, which serves fantastic homemade pizzas and treats its customers with respect. It's located in an old opera house and is definitely worth a visit!

We went there for breakfast and were promptly greeted by our waitress, who quickly took our orders for coffee and juice. We both enjoyed eggs, bacon, and sourdough toast, while my husband also had hash browns. Everything was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous, making it great value for the money. The waitress was exceptionally friendly, adding to the experience. The ambiance felt like an old diner filled with memories, and it seems to be a popular spot for locals, which I always appreciate. We'll definitely be returning!
We always have breakfast here when we visit Custer. The atmosphere is comfortable and refreshing. The food is excellent—especially the eggs, hash browns, sausage, cookies, and gravy. They also offer unlimited coffee refills. The server is down-to-earth and provides helpful comments, like asking how we enjoyed our pancakes, which is a testament to how good they are.
Fun small diner with wall to wall Betty Boop, biker and 70s music decor. I looked clean. Hardworking waitress. The breakfast that solidified the Diner experience for me: eggs, rye toast and black coffee as I wanted.
