Since it's a family-owned restaurant, I completely understand the challenges they face in trying to keep up with demand. The food was good – nothing exceptional, but solid overall.

We arrived in Custer just before 7 PM, and since most places close at 8 PM, we needed to find somewhere to eat quickly. We chose a spot and were so glad we did!... read more We arrived in Custer just before 7 PM, and since most places close at 8 PM, we needed to find somewhere to eat quickly. We chose a spot and were so glad we did! The waitress informed us right away that the fries were unavailable, but they were still serving Pommes cooked in a cast iron skillet. We decided to order a burger with fries and a grilled buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. Both dishes were delicious, but the fries were definitely the standout! We would definitely stop by again!

It was such a... read more We were on the road and decided to stop here and I'm so glad we were. This restaurant is family-run and family-friendly, which loves me even more! It was such a great mood here. The food was amazing, my steak was cooked to perfection and my husband buffalo wings were also great! They had a pool table with a few slot machines on the side. Wherever in South Dakota we will definitely be over.
