Tan-cha - Cupertino

I visited Tan-Cha last weekend and here are my thoughts. I enjoyed their fruit-flavored boba, but not as much as their tea-based ones. I didn't quite enjoy the tea base as much as other spots. The atmosphere was quite stuffy and I would recommend more circulation in a small space. I would also like to add the loud environment didn't help when ordering. Overall a solid 3/5 ?.

First time trying cheese foam. Got it with mango. Yummy.

Ordered the matcha slushy, which looks like it has milk or cheese foam. I was expecting just matcha and ice, blended. Pretty disappointed as the menu makes no mention of the milk/cheese.

This bubble tea shop is more on the expensive end with the costs for boba and other treats regardless, the food and drinks are good here. Plus the cup itself is durable, I'm still reusing it as a water bottle to this day in the car, lol. The staff here are very kind, and careful with their work in preparing the drinks and the atmosphere of the place is nice. It still makes a good spot to hang out for small families and groups of friends, but the chairs and tables are very limited. Ther were only 2 3 tables when I went there, on a weekend afternoon and one was taken.Overall, I think Tan Cha is worth trying if you're new or just visiting the area. But I don't see myself being a regular here, due to the higher cost and it's products being the same as almost every other bubble tea shop around San Jose.Vegetarian options: Non dairy options available.Wheelchair accessibility: Located on the first floor no stairs or elevator required.

We popped in to this location and enjoyed the hip decor and comfortable seats. It was a little quiet with only one other group inside and they ordered their teas and setup their table for a card game. This was still one of the more reasonably priced boba tea places in the South Bay. Sweetness, ice and type of topping was all customizable. They carried cheese, milk, fruit, freeze and straight teas. Our teas were quickly made in the back and delivered to us. The boba had the right consistency and chew. Always a good sign of the quality. Family agreed we will come back when in the area.
